Siesta Job Application

This new software package allows prospective employees to apply for positions via a link on your web page. The application process involves a series of easy steps that do not have to be completed all at once. Each applicant begins by creating a unique login account. While creating the account, the applicant selects the type of position for which he/she is applying. Depending on the nature of the position, the application will ask different questions.

In addition to general information, certified applicants (teachers, principals, etc.) will be asked about their educational background, professional licenses, employment history, Praxis/NTE testing, background questions, and references. New teacher applicants may be asked to submit a license verification form. Non-certified applicants will fill out a shorter application that is relevant to the position for which they are applying. Applicants may print out their application at any time.

School principals and human resource staff have an administrative version of Siesta Job Application which can be used to scan the applicants and locate those who truly are prospects for open positions. For example, a school principal can select a specific course and ask which applicants have the necessary endorsements to teach that subject. Administrators can print out copies of the applications from the list of applicants who seem to fit the qualifications.

Changing an applicant to an employee is easy - just move the applicant from the applicant site to a school. Most of the needed data has already been entered into the system. The data collected in Siesta Job Application is easily read in Siesta Staff Manager, Siesta Time Keeper and Siesta Staff Attendance.

Siesta Job Application is an easy-to-use software application. This is a must-have software package for personnel directors.
